FSASE Scholarship Foundation

The Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) Scholarship Foundation was formed for the purpose of providing scholarships to deserving students to assist in furthering their college education in the field of Political Science, Public or Business Administration, or a  Journalism/Mass Communications Major.
  • Applicants for scholarships are required to be full time students in a College or University in the State of Florida.

  • The following scholarships are awarded each year in June:

The Joe Oldmixon Scholarship  $1,200
The Jimmy Whitehouse Scholarship 
$1,200
The Dorothy Walker Ruggles Scholarship  $1,200

  • Students interested in applying for a FSASE scholarship should submit their application to the Supervisor of Elections office in the county in which they are registered to vote.

  • Application must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by: March 29, 2017.

Letters of Recommendation must accompany application or be received by the deadline.
